Covid Protocols

  •       St. James Parish is extremely vigilant in observing health protocols for your safety during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is important to note that the Green Bay Diocese has lifted the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until further notice.
       Following is a list of changes and procedures implemented or brought back to St. James since June 1, 2021:

    • All church entrances are now open
    • Masks are highly encouraged for everyone  
    • Temperatures will no longer be taken
    • More pews are open for seating but one section with social distancing is reserved for those who are wearing masks 
    • Missalettes are allowed and available at all entrances
    • Holy water fonts are again filled
    • Hand sanitizer is available at all doors
    • Families may bring up the offertory gifts
    • The Sign of Peace is allowed (use personal discretion)
    • A single line for Communion, socially distanced, will form at the side aisles, and return to pews down the center aisle
    • The Precious Blood will not be distributed
    • Church will be disinfected after each Mass
    • Live streaming will continue for the 8am Sunday Mass at St. James.

         The faithful who are unable to attend Mass are urged to make holy the Lord’s Day and to pray, read the Scriptures, watch a broadcast or livestreamed Mass and take part in acts of charity.
