Nearly 25 years ago, a fund was established at St. James to assist neighbors and friends who were experiencing a financial hardship.
We believe that an important part of our mission as a parish is to reach out to others in their time of need as Jesus so often did. Therefore, the St. James Good Samaritan Fund was established in April of 1998. The goal of the Good Samaritan Fund is to show caring and concern by providing financial assistance to individuals or families who have gone through or are experiencing difficult and trying times.
Good Samaritan Fund Guidelines:
The primary beneficiaries of the fund are St. James Parishioners and community members, however disbursements are not limited to them alone. To confidentially make a donation, or to ask for assistance, please contact Father Brian Belongia.
