Just like your own house, our church facilities also need maintenance. There are always projects and repairs that need to be done.
A small group of parishioners offer their time and talent to keep our facilities maintained. They take on small repairs, perform tasks at the request of parish staff and the pastor, and give advice for various facility needs. When needed they consult with professional trades.
The maintenance group reports to the pastor and to the Finance Council. Capital improvement projects must be approved by them. St. James Maintenance Committee welcomes new members with skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. They meet as needed with the Maintenance employee throughout the year.
