St. James’ Prayer Chain ministry offers spiritual support to others through prayer. People who need prayers for themselves or anyone else may submit them to our Prayer Chain, and then the intention is passed through the chain for each person in the chain to pray for. Praying for the needs of others is a way for us to reach out of ourselves, to put aside our own hurts, problems, loneliness, and pain for the sake someone else Members of the Prayer Chain maintain confidentiality and promise to offer personal prayer for each intention that is brought forward. There is no prescribed prayer that is required; rather each member prays in their own way. The intentions are mentioned collectively during the Offertory Petitions at weekend Masses.
