The southwest entrance received a facelift with new outdoor steps that are up to current building codes, and a re-do for the steps and entryway leading down to the parish hall and furnace room. This re-do will has helped in solving the water leakage problem and made this entrance more welcoming
The church parking lot iwas completely revamped in September of 2024. IWork began with excavation of the entire parking area, followed by replacement of several concrete sidewalks, and finally laying of new blacktop and re-striping the area. The on-going problem with drainage at the southwest corner of church was addressed.
A lift (type of elevator) was installed in the back entrance of the church. It allows for handicapped access between the main floor and the parish hall. This has solved the accessibility problem for the restrooms and social area in the hall for those attending Mass or other liturgies in the church.
Exterior painting of the trim surrounding the stained glass windows began in June. Fourteen windows on the church, and first floor windows of the parish center/rectory were scraped, primed and painted by John Kruse. This project continued throughout the summer of 2024.
