    "Gender Differences in Grief"

When we look at the gender differences in grief, what is important to remember is that neither way is right or wrong, just different. It can be helpful to understand how these gender differences play a part in how we grieve. Men and women can learn from each other and ultimately, realize that understanding the differences and similarities can help us better support families, friends, and coworkers, both male and female.

Sessions are held in person and through Zoom.

  • An on-going Grief Support Group is offered for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. If you or someone you know is grieving the death of someone close, please consider attending this group. They typically meet every-other month and dates and times are announced on this website, on Facebook, and in the bulletin. Since the pandemic began, a Zoom option has been offered in addition to gathering in person. This group is FREE to those who are grieving and their support people.
